ORANGE CbUNTY, 1~RTH CAROLINA <br />Caldwell's primary mutual aid partners are the Orange Rural Fire Department, <br />Eno Fire Department, and Cedar Grove Fire Department. The department also uses <br />resources from Person and Durham Counties. <br />The department has apre-planning program and a public education program. <br />The department's personnel distribute pamphlets and other educational materials <br />at community functions and events. The department also maintains apre-incident <br />planning program for all non-residential public assembly buildings within the <br />district, as well as a local fertilizer distributor and the County speedway. The <br />department has also developed a Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) Plan, in the event <br />of a large scale emergency at the speedway. <br />CARRBORO FIRE-RESCUE DEPARTMENT <br />The Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department provides fire and first responder <br />services to the Town of Carrboro. The fire department employs 36 full-time <br />firefighters and one part-time administrative assistant. Personnel are deployed at two <br />fire stations. The department has three pumpers, two aerials, and several support <br />vehicles. The department has one Fire Chief, one Deputy Chief, one Fire Marshal, <br />three Captains, six Lieutenants, nine driver operators, six relief drivers, and nine <br />firefighters. The Town's current ISO classification is 3. The South Orange Fire District <br />is serviced by the Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department. The South Orange Fire District <br />has an ISO classification of 5. <br />Exhibit 21 displays the department's staffing.
