� ; a <br />Orange RaCE Test Report <br />6.6 Test Radios <br />The Orange County Emergency Management XTL -5000 mobile radios were <br />preprogrammed with a wide area talk group labeled OCMAID. In addition to the Orange <br />County Mutual Aid talk group the radios were programmed with a simplex channel called <br />TA -1. The simplex channel appeared to be a digitally modulated channel. This was the <br />channel that was used for audio level alignment prior to testing on the system. After <br />arriving on site and getting the system up and operational it became apparent that the <br />system was actually operating in Analog mode. <br />-20- HMM I AE1 <br />
