Orange County Emergency Management, North Carolina <br />Final VIPER Anal sis Re ort Au ust 20, 2004 <br />Following equipment warranty periods, maintenance includes 800 MHz <br />trunked infrastructure, console equipment maintenance plus microwave <br />equipment and subscriber maintenance costs. <br />The cost for VIPER with iJNC-CH Services includes Orange County <br />purchased sites, console equipment, two microwave links for the PSAPs, <br />iJNC-CH Services site and all subscriber equipment. The cost for <br />maintenance includes console equipment maintenance, microwave (2- <br />hops) maintenance iJNC-CH services maintenance and subscriber <br />maintenance. VIPER infrastructure maintenance is assumed to be <br />provided by NC-SHP. <br />The cost for VIPER without iJNC-CH Services includes Orange County <br />purchased sites, console equipment, two microwave links for the PSAPs, <br />all subscriber equipment except for UNC Services which remain on the <br />existing conventional systems. The cost for maintenance includes console <br />equipment maintenance, microwave (2-hops) maintenance and subscriber <br />maintenance.
