MDC is a social <br />justice non-profit that demonstrates how programs and practices can bridge the gap <br />between opportunity and those left behind by the changing economy. I have experience <br />in writing and judging grant proposals and applications as well as planning and <br />overseeing peer-learning events (conferences and summits) as small as 20 professionals <br />in attendance and as large as 1,400. Prior to my work at MDC, I was a fundraising <br />director for a campaign for the Florida State House. <br />Volunteer Experience: <br />Most recently I've fostered dogs. Through 2002 I volunteered for Girl Scouts and worked <br />with young girls as well as young women.
