I also became proficient in the operation and maintenance of passenger <br />aircraft bridges. I worked their until 2005 when I received a job offer from Bowe Bell <br />Howell. Began working for Bowe Bell Howell in 2005 as an Mechanical Engineering <br />Technician II. I was assigned to the product development laboratory where we developed <br />an industry first mail document inserting system capable of the fastest change-over times <br />in industry history. I invented a final envelope registration process which eliminated faulty <br />envelope insertions at high speeds. I worked here until 2008 when a chronic illness <br />rendered me incapable of performing the physical requirements of the position. The <br />illness is now managed, but I am unable to do highly physical labor. <br />Volunteer Experience: <br />Volunteered to help prepare meals at the local shelter in Burlington, NC. I also did some <br />work with Habitat For Humanity in 2001. <br />Education: <br />I have an Aircraft Technical Training Certification from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical <br />University <br />I have Aircraft Pneudraulic and Electrical Systems Technical Training diploma from the <br />United States Air Force. <br />I also possess a Programmable Logic Control <br />Other Comments: <br />I would like to give back to the community by offering whatever I am able to provide. I <br />have lived abroad for 6 1/2 years and have traveled extensively. Since the day I first set <br />foot in Orange County I knew there was something very special about this diverse <br />community. I felt as though it was one of North Carolina's best kept secrets. A person <br />would have to travel far to find another place that equaled the rich cultural diversity found <br />in our community. I am a better person for having lived here and made friendships with <br />people I consider to be real treasurers. I would like to do what I can to help preserve the <br />Orange County's beauty and help her grow.
