Parts of the building may or may not be salvageable. He said that the <br /> funding has to be budgeted no matter what the Board decides. He said that it might be more <br /> astute to take the money they are using now to operate this facility and put it into a new <br /> building. He does not want to leave the building abandoned for too long. <br /> Commissioner McKee echoed Commissioner Jacobs' comments and said that <br /> eventually the facility may have to come down, but before then, they need to engage the <br /> community. <br /> Commissioner Hemminger said that she agreed with engaging the public but she <br /> cannot see budgeting a full year of funding that can be used for other things. The County <br /> cannot run this building the way it is running now. <br />
