Attachment .3 ~ ~ <br />Example of Development Fees That May Apply <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN ORANGE COUNTY AND THEClTY OF DURHAM <br />FOR CONSTRkJCTION-AND OPERATION O~ WATER AND SEWER FACILITIES <br />IN THE ENO- ECONOMIC DE-VELOPM-ENT ZONE OF ORANGE COUNTY <br />The following information and listings are ftom the City of Durham "Development Fees" <br />section of_ their fee-schedule effective May 1, 2010 and/or_ September 1, 2010. <br />When a development in Orange County within the area defined by the interlocal utility <br />service agreement comes forward under Orange County planning jurisdiction (i.e. <br />outside-City of Durham-corporate limits and not yet annexed) or after annexation by <br />Durham, the following fees apply: <br />The fees are an example of typical connections-for development and specific charges <br />will be calculated on a case by case basis of demand, frontage and/or acreage. <br />T he charges are explained in detail later in the memo_but are roughly categorized as: <br />CONCURRENT WITH DEVELOPMENT <br />Frontage Charges <br />Acreage Charges <br />Capital Facility Fees <br />Water and Sewer <br />Water Meter Costs <br />Other Charges <br />POST DEVELOPMENT <br />Water and Sewer Usage Charges <br />
