The SORS is <br />a fully volunteer organization and has 96 volunteers (47 EMS volunteers, 35 technical <br />rescue volunteers, and 14 community volunteers. <br />Exhibit 8 provides a summary of the number of fire stations and major <br />categories of apparatus operated by fire departments in Orange County. There are <br />32 engines, four aerials, 15 tankers, nine brush trucks, and 22 command, support, <br />utility, and multiple- purpose units.
