a. Services: The Senior Lunch Program through the Department on Aging provides <br />1,500 meals to Carrboro's older adults, age sixty and older eating lunch at the <br />Robert and Pearl Seymour Center. <br />b. Amount: Carrboro has approved an <br />Lunch Program for fiscal year 2011-12. <br />appropriation of $5,892.42 to the Senior <br />3. Parties to Contract: The Town of Chapel Hill (the "Town") and Orange County <br />(Department on Aging) <br />a. Services: The Department on Aging operates a comprehensive program targeted <br />toward Chapel Hill and Orange County residents aged 55 years and older for <br />fiscal year 2011-12. <br />b. Amount: The Town shall pay an amount not to exceed $50,000. <br />4. Parties to Contract: The Town of Chapel Hill (the "Town") and Orange County <br />(Department on Aging) <br />a. Services: The Department on Aging provides services (RSVP 55+ Volunteer <br />Program) to match individuals over 55 years of age with volunteer opportunities in <br />the Chapel Hill community. <br />b. Amount: The Town has appropriated $12,300 to the RSVP 55+ Volunteer <br />Program through the Department on Aging for fiscal year 2011-12. <br />5 <br />6. <br />Parties to Amended Agreement: The Town of Carrboro, the Town of Chapel Hill, <br />the Town of Hillsborough and the County of Orange <br />a. Services: This is an amendment to the HOME Investment Partnership Program <br />Consortium Agreement approved by the BOCC on May 3, 2011. HUD requested <br />that the County amend the Agreement to comply with the HOME requirements. <br />Section III, Paragraph A of the July 1, 2011 HOME Investment Partnership <br />Program Consortium Agreement is amended as follows: <br />i. The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2014, the <br />period necessary to carry out all activities funded during fiscal years 2011, <br />2012, and 2013. <br />ii. That all members of the Orange County Home Consortium (the "OHC") will <br />remain in the OHC for this term. <br />iii. The Agreement remains in effect until the HOME funds are closed out. <br />b. Amount: These amendments do not affect any other terms of the original <br />Agreement. <br />Parties to Partnership: The State of North Carolina, Department of Health and <br />Human Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Orange County <br />a. Services: The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services ("VR") will make use <br />of American Reinvestment and Recovery Act monies to fund On-the-Job Training <br />service as well as paid internships for employers, including Orange County, who <br />hire or train a qualified job candidate referred by VR. VR has the option to <br />advance funds to Orange County for both of these programs. <br />b. Amount: Depending on the County's participation in the On-the-Job Training and <br />the paid internship opportunities offered by VR. The County will be reimbursed for <br />the actual cost of employing the interns. <br />
