There are two County Capital Projects that were approved as part of the Orange County <br />2011-16 Capital Investment Plan. Both projects (Renovations to 129 King Street and <br />Purchase of property for the Southwest Branch Library) are planned to be funded with <br />County Capital Reserve funds. The appropriation of funds from the County Capital <br />Reserve Fund was not included as part of the County's Annual Budget Ordinance. <br />Therefore,. $334,894 is requested to be appropriated from the County Capital Reserve <br />Fund Balance and transferred to the County_ Capital Projec#s Fund, $120,894 for 129 <br />King Street and $214,OD0 for the Southwest Branch Library. This will leave a balance of <br />$31,033 in the Capital Reserve Fund as of June 30, 2011. (See Attachment 1, column <br />12) <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts. ar_e included in the background information above. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve budget, grant, and school capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2011- <br />12. <br />
