<br />Estakilished and implemented chapter and operations( protocol for national, 501(c)3 non-
<br />profitdedicated to raising public awareness on social issues affecting developing
<br />countries Through audio and film documentaries, photo exhibitions, and educational
<br />articles produced by members of SOW university chapters (including, Brown University,
<br />Duke University, University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, University_of-North Carolina at
<br />Chapel Hill, and University of Texas at Austin). Researched, wrote, and designed an
<br />interactive Student Resource Guide for university chapter members that provides
<br />instruction on: team recruitment, effective team leadership and management, successful
<br />collaboration with the Clinton Global Inl#iative, trudgets, establishing contacts in
<br />developing countries, research methodology, fund development, amateur documentary
<br />filmmaking, safe navigation through developing countries, and the creation of media
<br />exhibitions to raise cultural awareness. Developed template documents and literature for
<br />UT-Austin chapter's 2005 grassroots fundraising campaign (now utilized by all chapters),
<br />including individual and business donor solicitation letters, in-kind donation proposals,
<br />event press releases, etc., resulting in generous monetary and in-kind donations needed
<br />to assist chapter members in covering the cost of travel abroad and subsequent media
<br />exhibition development. Collaborated with SOW founder and president on organizational
<br />protocol, outreach, funding, and strategic planning, which included the development of a
<br />strategic partnership with a corporate photography equipment and materials retailer to
<br />supply at-cost, discounted, and donated documentary materials to all SOW chapters.
<br />Created and edited organizational literature including mission statements, business
<br />plans, strategic partnership proposals, brochures, press releases, and so forth. Planned
<br />and executed special events with the UT-Austin SOW chapter, including a public
<br />informational slideshow, discussion panels, radio interviews, and a photo and film
<br />exhibition to demonstrate specific international development issues and to raise money
<br />for NGO partners
