Rehabilitative Care Facility - A facility licensed by the appropriate state agency, as a <br />group care facility for individuals who are handicapped, aged, disabled, youthful <br />offenders, addicted to alcohol or drugs,. requiring professional health care, adult <br />supervision, or rehabilitation. <br />Residential Floor Area -Residential floor area shall be construed as the sum of <br />areas for residential use on all floors of the building measured from the outside faces <br />of the exterior walls, including halls, lobbies, stairways, elevator shafts, enclosed <br />porches- and balconies, and below-grade floor areas used for habitation and <br />residential access. <br />Not countable as floor area are: <br />1} Open terraces, patios, atriums, or balconies <br />2), Carports, garages, breezeways, too(sheds <br />3) Special-purpose areas for common use of occupants, such as recreation <br />rooms of social halls <br />4) Staff space for therapy or examination in care housing <br />5) Basement space not used for living accommodations <br />6) Any commercial or other non=residential space. <br />Residential Land Area -Residential land area shall be construed as all land for <br />residential development and related uses, including open space, within the district in <br />the case of PD-H zoning, or on the lot or tract where residential uses in other locations <br />are controlled by these regulations. Such lands shall be construed to include streets <br />entirely within, residential portions of the development, common open space, and <br />lands accepted for dedication for public purposes. Residential land area shall be <br />included in residential land area. (as for example, in the case of amulti-family building <br />with ten percent of its floor area in accessory commercial and service uses). <br />Amended <br />1.115/03 Resources Management Pian - A document and map, submitted as a part of a Major <br />Subdivision, Class A Special Use Permit application or a Major Subdivision, Planned <br />Development Aflas Amendment with SUP application; that sets forth, in detail, the <br />location of and the proposed methods fora <br />1) protection of natural resources (i.e. habitat maintenance, existing vegetation, and <br />mitigation of environmentally sensitive areas), <br />2) ownership and maintenance of open spaces (common open space, proposed <br />conservation easements, and landscape buffers) <br />3) provision of services (solid waste management to include recycling, storm water <br />management (temporary and permanent), irrigation systems to include the <br />source of water, <br />4) the handling of land clearing debris. <br />Restaurant - An establishment whose principal business is the sale of food and <br />beverages to the customer in aready-to-consume state, and whose design or <br />principal method of operation includes one or-both of the following: <br />a) Customers, normally provided with an individual menu, are served their foods <br />and/or beverages by a restaurant employee at the same table or counter at <br />which said items are consumed. <br />b) A cafeteria style setting is provided where food, and/or beverages are <br />consumed within the restaurant structure. <br />22-25 <br />
