<br />Attachment 3: Whitted Human Services Center -Phase 2 <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br />13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is <br />hereby adopted. <br />Section 1.The project authorized provides funds for major renovation work at the Whitted <br />Human Services Center in Hillsborough to include HVAC and general interior <br />renovations. Financing for the project includes proceeds from the two-thirds net <br />debt reduction bonds issued in Spring 2000. <br />Section 2.The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the <br />budget contained herein. <br />Section 3.The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: <br /> Through FY <br />2002-03 <br />FY 2003-04 Through FY <br />2003-04 <br />Sales Tax $0 $100,000 $100,000. <br />2/3 Net Debt <br />Reduction Bond Funds <br />$2,745,000 <br />$2,745,000 <br />Private Placement $0 $475,000 $475,000 <br />Grant Funds $0 $0 <br />Fees $0 $0 <br />Other $0 $0 <br />Total Fundin $2,745,000 $575,000 $3,320 000 <br />Section 4.The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br /> Through FY <br />2002-03 <br />FY200.3-04 Through FY 2003- <br />04 <br />Iand/Buil $0 <br />Desi $0 $0 <br />Constnution $2,502,716 $575,000 $3,077,716 <br />Professional Foes -HVAC $191,284 $191,284 <br /> $51,000 $51,000 <br />Total Casts $2,745,000 $575,000 $32(1,000 <br />Section 5. This ordinance supersedes all previous Whiffed Human Services Center- Phase <br />2 Capital Project Ordinances for Orange Gounty. <br />Section 6. This ordinance shall remain in effect until June 30, 2004. <br />Adopted this 21st day of October 2003. <br />
