WHEREAS, Orange County recognizes that realignment of Eno Mountain Road to align <br />with Mayo Street at its intersection with Orange Grove Road is a needed improvement <br />to address safety concerns and also has the potential, in coordination with potential <br />future road improvements, to provide an alternative north-south route through western <br />Hillsborough without a new crossing of the Eno River; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Orange County Board of <br />Commissioners that if the Town of Hillsborough approves the project they should <br />require the developers of the Villages At Meadowview or any future large scale <br />development at this site to dedicate right-of-way and provide funds for a portion of the <br />future construction of the realignment of Eno Mountain Road to align with the <br />intersection of Mayo Street at Orange Grove Road and all associated sidewalks along <br />Eno Mountain and Orange Grove Roads. <br />Upon otion of Commissioner ~-~z ,seconded by Comdr issioner <br />.~ ,the foregoing r olution was adoNted this the _~ day of ~~~~- <br />2003. <br />I, Donna Baker, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North <br />Carolina, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true copy of so much of the <br />proceedings of said Board at a meeting held on October 1, 2003 as relates in any way <br />to the adoption of the foregoing and that said proceedings are recorded in the minutes <br />of said Board. ~ <br />WITNESS my hand and the seal of said County, this ~ -day of ~~~~~- <br />2003. <br />'e„`` <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board o ~ ommissioners <br /> <br />
