PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PLAN <br />If the subdivision is located in a Transition <br />Area designated as such on the Land Use <br />Element of the Comprehensive Plan, a <br />plan for sidewalks or pedestrian/bike lanes <br />as part of the public roads using where <br />appropriate alternative North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation design <br />guidelines that include pedestrian/bike <br />lanes as part of the public road system. <br />For proposals not located in a transition <br />area an off-road, open space pedestrian <br />plan shall be submitted and/or other plans <br />as approved by NCDOT. <br />(Submittal: Plan and one half-page written <br />summary) E R R R <br />8.
