Facility: Brooks Compost Facility <br />SWC Permit #: 19-DS <br />County: Chatham • <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />10: Windrow dimensions for active composting shall be.limited to~ a maximum of 7' high <br />x 20' wide unless otherwise approved by the Division, <br />11. Windrow turning shall not occur without consulting weather forecasts far favorable <br />conditions including temperature,'wind direetion,•temperature inversions, and <br />precipitation. <br />12. The odor management plan shall be followed to minimize odors -at the facility <br />boundary. Upon receipt of a facility complaint the facility operator shall investigate <br />and take action as necessary to minimize the cause- of the complaint. A copy cf all <br />complaints regarding this faeitity shall be maintained for two years including the <br />operator'..s actions taken to resolve the complaints. <br />13.. Feedstocks shall not be received that are in an anaerobic state. <br />14. The facility shall be-operated in a mannerahat reduces the potential for vector <br />amaction. . <br />15. Stockpiling of finished product shall be limited to a height of 60'. <br />16: The facility operational capacity far this permit shall be limited to 75,000 tons of <br />feedstocks peryear received- for composting. <br />17. This permit shall~expire on January 22, 2015. Changes in ownership, increase in <br />facility capacity, or receiving feed stocks not identified in the permit application shall <br />require a permit modification. <br />
