8 <br />Ms. Phyllis Horton is a training and education consultant involved in <br />programs to benefit youth and families. She previously taught science and <br />social studies at the middle school level. She is interested in community <br />liaison roles. Her educational background and professional concerns <br />would add value to the work of the HSAC. She has been contacted and is <br />very interested in serving. <br />At their regular meeting on Monday, April 7, the Human Services Advisory <br />Commission took the following action: <br />Motion to nominate Ms. Gonzalez-Jackson and Ms. Phyllis Horton for <br />recommendation to the BOCC to fill At-Large Vacancies. <br />Motion made by HSAC member Cheryle Atwater; Seconded by HSAC member <br />Pat Vandivere.
