(o <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING AN APPOINTMENT <br />TO AN EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION SEAT <br />ON THE HILLSBOROUGH BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the end of a Lem, it is noces.4aty W appoint a person to a seat reserved on the <br />Hillsborough Board of Adjustment for persans rzsiding within the town's extraterritorial plerming jwisdiction; <br />and <br />Wl~REAS, by state statute and town ordinance, the Orange County Board of Commissioners initially has the <br />autb-oscity and responsibility tv appoint ETJ members t~o tho town's Boatel of Adjusttne~. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF TIC TOWN OF HILLSBOROUGH <br />RESOLVES: <br />Section 1. The Orange Couiriy Bayard of Comrnissionears is respectfully requested to appoint the <br />following individual to the unexpired term of an ETJ seat on the Hillsborough Boatel of Adjustment, whose <br />tens would expire in June 30, 2004: <br />Ricbasd Silvcrmrm <br />205 Saponi Dr <br />Hillsborough, NC 27276 <br />Section 2, ff the Orange County Board of Commissioners fails w appoint persons willing to serve in <br />the capacity described above within 90 days after receiving this resolution, then the Hillsborough Town Bond <br />may mate this appoiatme[rt. ~ . <br />Section 3.
