SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
MOBUTUK
MobileTrak:
RESTRICTED USER ACCESS
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
LogiSYS can configure your site to control how the MobileTrak program restricts access to CFSs
and what sort of information is given to the user when the CFS Report is generated. This option
controls CFS report display separately for units than for general administrative users(such as fire
chiefs)who are not logged in as a unit.
When a unit logging into MobileTrak is associated with a recognized agency or agencies in the
datafile, the unit's CFS Report privileges are restricted. When a CFS is not available for a CFS
Report the same criteria is also applied to whether the mobile unit can view the CFS,i..e.right-
click and select View M.
Although a unit can view CFSs in the MobileTrak's CFS Queue,a unit's ability to view a CFS
Report is based on what units have been dispatched to the CFS in question. Resource Group
selection will either be removed or disabled for mobile users. However, the list ofresource rog tips
will be predefined with configuration so that a user only sees CFSs related to those predefined
groups in their CFS queue.
A logged-in unit can view a CFS Report only for CFSs that have had a resource dispatched from
the logged-in unit's agency.Additional configurations may allow units to view additional calls. A
logged-in unit can view a CFS Report for calls that have had a resource dispatched from any of
the agencies defined as viewable for the logged hi unit's agency. This allows your system to be
configured so that, for example, county fire-units can view calls associated with city fire units,
even when no county fire units were dispatched to the call. This allows for more flexibility in
viewable calls than would be available if units are restricted to only calls associated with units
from their own agency. The agencies of all dispatched resources(even those no longer attached)
qualify as resource agencies for a call. Both active and archived calls are treated in the same man-
ner in the filtering functionality.
A CFS report can be opened via the CFS Report main menu option,by double-clicking on a par-
ticular CFS in the CFS Queue. When a unit opens the CFS Report for a call he's allowed to view,
the display of the CFS Report may be different than the base CFS Report. The CFS Report can be
customized such that different resource agencies have different data included in their report.
If a logged-in unit attempts to open the CFS Report for a CFS with dispatched units that don't
come from one of the required agencies, the system displays an error message and prevents the
CFS Report from opening.
I sz 05/31/11
