SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
MOBJ ETRAK
MobileTrak:
CFS ALERTS TAB
7rP•y $utpipavy _' ,JICFS+7duplDgr AdBcreuuss++,,`i_ InG.Cedflgnset CpntaC.tP No ;;';
`Gsolni`o CfossBtreets 700 f12$1110F(t7 f04 Z - - '
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The Alerts tab has no associated menu and displays system-generated alerts or other information
associated with the incident address. The Alerts tab turns red to indicate the alert type associated
with the incident address is either a LawHazard or Hazard alert.Configurable.
The Alerts tab contains information associated with a Call for Service. The system triggers an
alert when an address is entered in the Address field on the CFS Fields tab.
Alerts are displayed in the queue by Type of alert, a Summary of the alert, the CFS Number asso-
ciated with the alert, the Address of the incident, the Incident Code, the Contact information such
as the owner of a business, the Contact Phone number and Apartment Number.Only certain fields
will be filled based on the type of alert. For example,a Boundary alert will fill the Summary field
based on the area in which the incident address is located.
To view an existing alert, select the alert in the queue and double-click.The alert opens as a tab in
the CFS Fields tab section. You may have up to four child record tabs open at one time, when the
fifth child record tab is opened, the first record tab closes. All alert fields are view only and
unavailable for edits.
The information contained in the alert queue allows you to make a preliminary assessment of a
Call for Service. This is useful in situations such as when a Hazard alert, for example, requires
immediate attention. An OtherInfo alert may not need to be viewed until officers arrive on scene.
When an incident address with associated Hazard or Law Hazard alert criteria is entered, the
Alerts tab turns red. Configurable.
Only alert options associated with the incident address or within a certain alert radius are dis-
played in the alert queue. Alert information may include after-hours contact information for a
business,a description of hazardous materials at or near the incident location,or information
regarding previous CFSs at that location.
1-34 07/16/10
.n
