SYSTEM DESCRIPTION MOSIIFTRAK MobileTrak: SILENT DISPATCH file .Edit t�p.date ' gepnrts.` i . ate i�elp ; FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION LogiSYS can configure your system to include a Silent Dispatch option.When a unit equipped with MobileTrak mobile sofrivare is attached to a CFS,the system sends a digital dispatch to the unit without any further action by the dispatcher.This is known as a"Silent Dispatch."The mobile unit receives the dispatch and a new menu option of Silent Dispatch appears on the CFS Manager main menu bar. In addition,the map zooms to the CFS and the CFS report is automati- cally opened. The Silent Dispatch menu option contains one menu item listing the CFS Number to which the unit is attached. When the user selects the CFS Number,the CFS is loaded to the CFS Fields tab for service, and the Silent Dispatch menu option disappears. LogiSYS can configure your system to trigger an assigned sound when a silent dispatch is sent to an MDT equipped unit by a dispatcher. A unit equipped with MobileTrak mobile software may also attach itself to an existing CFS and/or update its status by using the status update command buttons. (See page 1-3.)Typically,the updates consist of units changing to"en route"status after receiving a dispatch,then reporting"on scene"upon arrival.If a unit updates its status to"available,"MobileTrak detaches the unit from the current CFS,if it is attached to a CFS. When a unit chooses a status command button,the sta- tus of the unit changes accordingly in the MobileTrak system. MENU OPTION Silent Dispatch Menu bar option.When Silent Dispatch is activated,the system displays the CFS number to which a mobile unit has been assigned,and if configured,trig- gers an assigned alert sound.
