SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br /> MOBILETRAK <br /> Data in the CFS#column displays the Call for Service number to which the unit is attached. <br /> Data in the Res.Agency column displays the Agency to which the unit belongs. <br /> Data in the Status Change column displays the last the time the unit's status was changed. <br /> Dispatchers select available units,attach them to a Call for Service,then track these units as they <br /> pass through the various changes in status.When a unit is available and ready for dispatch,it dis- <br /> plays site's unit status abbreviation in the status column.For example,AV for Available or OD for <br /> Off Duty. <br /> MobileTrak automatically updates a unit's status when any of the following actions occur. <br /> • A unit is attached to a CFS <br /> • A unit is detached from a CFS <br /> • The CFS is completed <br /> Mobile units can update their status in MobileTrak. Typically the updates consist of units chang- <br /> ing to"enroute"status after receiving a dispatch,then reporting"on scene"upon arrival.If a unit <br /> updates its status to"available,"the system detaches the unit from the current CFS,if it is <br /> attached to a CFS.When a unit chooses a status command button,the status of the unit changes <br /> accordingly in the MobileTrak system. <br /> LogiSYS can configure your system to display preset status buttons on the mobile data computers. <br /> The unit status buttons are displayed in the order that they were configured.The status buttons <br /> highlight to show the unit's current status. <br /> LogiSYS can configure your system to include a preset Emergency status button to provide a <br /> quick method for MDT-enabled units to send a silent,high-priority"Officer Needs Help"signal to <br /> the MobileTrak system.The system routes the signal immediately to every dispatcher monitoring <br /> the signalling unit, or to all dispatchers if the unit is not currently active on any dispatcher's <br /> screen. <br /> When an officer chooses the Emergency status button,the system receives an emergency signal <br /> and sounds an alarm to dispatchers monitoring the unit.A comment is added to the CFS that the <br /> officer went to emergency status,and a message is also added to the UnitTrak database and to the <br /> transaction log to indicate that the unit went to emergency status. <br /> For every dispatcher monitoring the unit,the system displays the message: "Unit<#>notified <br /> CAD of emergency Last location: <location>". <br /> I-A 02/22/11 <br />
