5 <br />Attachment <br />Note: A motor vehicle accident may include an incident in <br />which an individual is injured even though there is no vehicle <br />collision. <br />11.2.5 Refurn-to-Duty -Required when an employee has had a confirmed <br />positive alcohol or verified positive drug test and returns to <br />evered duty~es. <br />11.2.6 Follow-Up -Required on an employee who has returned to duty <br />following a positive alcohol or drug test <br />. Tests are unannounced <br />and at least six drug and alcohol tests are conducted in the first <br />12 months after return to duty. Follow-up testing may continue for <br />up to 6A-r~ae~k~s five years after return to duty. <br />11.3 Testing Coverage <br />11.3.1 Reasonable Suspicion -Conducted for any County employee, <br />temporary or permanent, when trained personnel determine that <br />reasonable suspicion exists that the employee is at work under the <br />influence of drugs or alcohol. (See Appendix B Guidelines for <br />Determining Reasonable Suspicion.) <br />11.3.2 Random -Conducted on any County employee, temporary or <br />permanent, whose position: <br />a. Is covered under Federal drug and alcohol testing regulations <br />as defined in Appendix A, or <br />b. Involves driving an emergency response vehicle transporting <br />patients. <br />11.3.3 Pre-Employment -Conducted on any: <br />a. Permanent employee whose position is: <br />- Covered under the Federal drug and alcohol testing <br />regulations, as defined in Appendix A, or <br />- Designated by the County as County safety sensitive, as <br />defined in Appendix A. <br />__ <br />__ _ _ __ <br />b.
