Year-To-Date Budget <br />Summary <br />INFORMATIOPf CONTACT: <br />Clarence Grier, (919) 245-2453 <br />PURPOSE: To approve budget and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2010- <br />11. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Department on Aging <br />1. The Department on Aging has received the following additional funds: <br />• Chapel Hill Recreation -receipt of additional funds of $3,300 from the Town of <br />Chapel Hill for senior citizens programs at the Robert and Pearl- Seymour Senior <br />Center. <br />• Operation Fan -funds totaling $2,344 for Operation Fan from Duke Energy through <br />the Triangle J Area Agency on Aging. This program purchases fans and air <br />conditioners for low-income, older adults in need in Orange County. <br />This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these funds for the above mentioned <br />purposes. (See Attachment 7, Column 7) <br />
