Expenditures include: <br />• Legal Ad: $287 (This item's portion of legal ad expense) <br />• Signs: $256 <br />• Notification letters and postcards (postage and supplies): $36 <br />Existing Planning staff included in the Departmental staffing budget <br />accomplished the work required to process this amendment. <br />D. AMENDM-ENT IMPLICATIONS <br />This amendment will provide consistency between the County's Land Use Plan and Water and <br />Sewer Management Planning_and Boundary Agreement, as well as provide appropriate land use <br />classifications in areas that were removed from the Critical Area when its boundary was <br />adjusted in June 2010. Rezoning for economic development purposes cannot occur in this area <br />unless a Land Use Element Map amendment is approved. <br />Analysis <br />As required under Section 2.3.9 of the Orange County Unified Development Ordinance, the <br />Planning Director is required to: 'cause an analysis to be made of the application and, based upon <br />that analysis, prepare a recommendation for consideration by the Planning Board and the Board of <br />County Commissioners'.
