Expenditures include: <br />• Legal Ad: $287 (This item's portion of legal ad expense) <br />• Signs: $384 <br />• Notification letters and postcards (postage and supplies): $53 <br />Existing Planning staff included in the Departmental staffing budget <br />accomplished the work required to process this amendment. <br />D. AMENDMENT IMPLICATIONS <br />This amendment will provide consistency among the County's Land Use Element Map, Water <br />and Sewer Management Planning and Boundary Agreement, and water and sewer engineering <br />design that is currently taking place for potential future service within the amendment area. <br />Rezoning for economic development purposes cannot occur in this area unless a Land Use <br />Element Map amendment is approved. <br />This amendment would also be consistent with proposed Burlington Graham MPO roadway <br />plans and a future I-85/40 interchange on Mattress Factory Road. Orange County will also bring <br />forth transportation plan amendments to reflect area development potential. <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
