He would also like to invite the Planning Board to <br />come to the work session where the comprehensive plan is discussed. <br />Livy Ludington made reference to the map and said this should be the <br />underlining layer of the zoning map. She sees these as overlays with the green infrastructure <br />that is there. <br />Commissioner Brown asked when the aerial mapping in Orange County would <br />be completed. <br />David Stancil said in about one year. <br />Craig Benedict said he hopes it will be completed in less than one year. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner <br />Halkiotis that the Board refer the Triangle Land Conservancy Report to the Commission for the <br />Environment and Environment and Resource Conservation staff for evaluation and <br />incorporation into the upcoming Orange County Lands Legacy program. This report will also be <br />referred to the Planning Department for inclusion in their comprehensive planning process. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />11. APPOINTMENTS <br />The Board was to consider appointments to the Northern Transition Area Advisory <br />Committee and the Orange County Planning Board, but these appointments were delayed to a <br />future meeting. <br />12. The meeting was adjourned at 10:40 p.m. A BOCC work session <br />will be held on September 30, 1999 at 7:30 at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel <br />Hill, North Carolina. The next regular meeting will be held on October 5, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. in <br />the F.
