Appointments <br />The Board approved the following appointments: <br />Advisory Board on Aging <br />Mariah McPherson for an unexpired term expiring 6/30/2000 <br />Commission for Women <br />Angela C. Adams-Matthews, Mildred Council and Bonnie Gates for terms ending <br />613012001. <br />Hazel Lunsford and Brenda Rosen for terms ending 613012002. <br />b. Minutes <br />This item was removed and placed at the end of the Consent Agenda. <br />C. Appointment of Two 19-A County-appointed Animal Cruelty <br />Investigators <br />The Board appointed Dean Edwards and Jon Gilmore as County-appointed <br />animal cruelty investigators. <br />d. Animal Protection Society Proposal to Raise Shelter Adoption and Board <br />Fees <br />This item was removed and placed at the end of the Consent Agenda. <br />e. Annual Contract Renewal between Animal Protection Society and Orange <br />County for Animal Shelter Services <br />The Board approved renewing its contract with the Animal Protection Society, in <br />the amount of $356,974 for animal shelter services. <br />f.
