Matheson stated that tobacco nr roes were on the downward trend but was <br />still holding its own bs tter ther. other farm commodities, He also stated that <br />lime and far ti 112er PJa3 on the herd to get list but he thought Orange County <br />farmers would be able to get a very good quasi ty o1' both. <br />tfr. Barnes talked on the corn contest held in the county this year end <br />stated that .this 'doxftaet showed that much higher yields could be acccmplis had <br />by the use of hybred seed corn and bettor far tilizatlon. He also stated that <br />the Or anga County 4H members won several flrst and second prizes at the North <br />Carolina State Fair. <br />tAr. P. H.
