STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />AMENDMENT TO LEASE <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO LEASE, made and entered into this the 7th day of June <br />2011, by and between Carr Mill -Mall Limited Partnership, a North Carolina Domestic <br />Limited partnership, hereinafter referred to as "LANDLORD", and, Orange County, a <br />politic subdivision of the State of North Carolina, hereinafter referred to as "TENANT"; <br />WITNESSETH: <br />THAT, WHEREAS, the parties hereinto entered into a Lease Agreement dated <br />October 4, 1985 and renewed on March 3, 1991, November 2, 1993, May 14, 1996, <br />May 6, 1998, and renewed and amended on May 1, 2003 and May 20, 2008 (the <br />"Lease"), containing 5580 square feet of leasable area, in the Carr Mill Mall, and <br />identified as space # D-15. <br />WHEREAS, the parties hereto have mutually agreed as herein set forth; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) in hand, <br />paid by each of the parties hereto, and for other good and valuable consideration, the <br />receipt and adequacy of is hereby mutually acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as <br />follows. <br />1. The Lease term is hereby renewed for a period commencing on July 1, 2011 and <br />continuing through September 30, 2011. <br />2. Taxes assessed by Landlord pursuant to section 11 shall be prorated based on <br />occupancy period. <br />3. During this renewal, all other terms and conditions of the lease will remain the <br />same. <br />Except as expressly modified herein, all of the terms, covenants, and conditions of the <br />lease are hereby ratified and confirmed to be in full force and effect. <br />
