A record of meeting <br />contents and attendees will be made and provided to Orange County upon request. <br />Weekiv Coordination Meetings with Contractors: Neel-Schaffer will initiate a weekly <br />meeting with the debris removal contractor to help expedite the work and to discuss any <br />issues that may arise during the week. It is important that the monitor and contractor are <br />coordinating with each other to ensure a successful project. In conjunction with these <br />meetings, our staff will coordinate with County personnel as needed on any issues that may <br />arise in the lfreld. <br />Safelty <br />Safety and training are key components that we stress to our employees. We will conduct <br />regular safety meeting to inform and remind employees of the importance of project safety. <br />Each safety meeting will generally summarize overall monitor safety then provide detailed <br />discussion of a particular element or elements of project safety, such as safe driving, roadside <br />trafttc safety or safety around heavy equipment. Additionally, we have dress code and safety <br />gear requirements for our employees. <br />All Neel-Schaffer monitors will have access to safety equipment including eye protection, <br />hearing protection, safety shoes, safety reflective vests, hard hats and wet and cold weather <br />clothing compliant with federal, state and local requirements. All debris monitors will wear <br />D.O.T. Class II reflective safety vests. <br />Addi#ioea! Services <br />Pre-Storm Coordination <br />Neel-Schaffer will meet with Orange County at least once each year prior to June 1, to <br />coordinate and plan for the upcoming hurricane season. We will mobilize and meet with <br />Orange County in advance of each credible disaster threat that may affect the County. <br />These pre-season and pre-storm travel and meetings will be conducted at no cost to Orange <br />County. These meetings will serve to improve coordination efforts, communicate Orange <br />County's expectations of Neel-Schaffer, and prepare to expedite recovery in the event a <br />disaster strikes Orange County. <br />These meetings may be attended by debris haulers, contractors, regulators and other parties <br />as desired by Orange County_ As requested by Orange County, Neel-Schaffer will provide <br />planning, training, permitting and damage assessment to the County. We have extensive <br />experience in all of these areas, both pre~iisaster and post-disaster. We can provide <br />development, reviews and revisions to emergency management and debris management <br />plans. We have experience in developing hazard mitigation plans, performing infrastructure <br />damage pre-assessment and conducting training programs. <br />Site selection - As requested, the Neel chaffer team, with the assistance from. our team <br />of geologists, will provide technical and permitting assistance associated with the need to <br />locate Debris Management Sites (DMS). If requested by the County, we will perform the <br />necessary environmental data collection process including baseline data and apply for <br />required permits per local, state and federal requirements for designated emergency DMS. <br />III NEEI-SCRAPPER <br />- -- ,-.. o,...d.. ~.. <br />
