This facility was found to have chlordane soil contamination. The area of contamination <br />Certification (Mississippi was delineated, characterized, excavated and disposed, and an assessmenUremediation report was <br />Certificason CH60718) prepared for, and submitted to, the applicable regulatory agencies. <br />`- American Assoaabon Senior Geologist- Comprehensive Environmental Investigation, Private Company-Stone <br />of Groundwater scientists County, Mississippi -Developed and implemented a comprehensive work plan to assess portions <br />and Engineers of a residential neighborhood previously utilized as a commercial disposal site. Large portions of the <br /> site were trenched to determine the nature and volume of the buried wastes, and soil, groundwater <br />Specialized and air sampling was conducted to assess for potential contaminant migration pathways. <br />..Training. <br />HUD Environmental Senior Geologist -Underground Storage Tank Closures and Assesments -Mississippi Gulf <br />Review Procedures for Coast and New Orleans, Louisiana -Performed field activities and provided oversight for numerous <br />Responsible Entities UST closure, assessment and remediation projects at gasoline retail facilities, Department of Defense <br /> bases, and other commercial facilities. Performed closure sampling and technical assistance to UST <br /> owners and the MDEQ. <br /> • Senior Geologist - FEMA Environmental Assessments -Harrison and Jackson County, <br /> Mississippi -Prepared Environmental Assessments in accordance with National Environmental <br /> Policy Act (NEPA) guidelines in order to obtain federal funding for the re-building of schools destroyed <br /> by Hurricane Katrina and for municipal re-development projects. <br /> • Environmental Science Project Manager- HUD Environmental Assessments -Mississippi <br /> Gulf Coast -Prepared environmental assessments for Katrina recovery and re-development projects <br /> in accordance with HUD requirements and NEPA regulations. <br />
