38 <br />Prior to each hurricane season we wilt meet with Orange County at least once at no cost to the County, to <br />coordinate response and communications plans to facilitate a "fast track" disaster response. We will mobilize <br />a core team of debris management professionals in advance of hurricanes or predicted disasters to being <br />preparation for full scale debris operations and to work with the Countyto develop an event specific Debris <br />Management Action Plan. Neel-Schaffer's permanent staff and companywide disaster management <br />response team are prepared to respond immediately in the event of future disasters in Orange County. We <br />will mobilize prior to the event in order to be fully prepared to assist Orange County recover from predictable <br />disasters. We will be on site to assist the County within 12 hours following unpredicted disasters. Neel- <br />Schaffer is ready and able to serve Orange County in the event of a disaster. <br />To help ensure you receive all the federal and state assistance available following any disaster, we have <br />employed former emergency management public officials, including Robert Latham, retired Executive Director <br />of the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). Mr. Latham was the Executive Director during <br />and following Hurricane Katrina and contributed greatly to the response and recovery efforts in Mississippi. <br />This was just one of eleven declared presidential disasters Mr. Latham responded to during his career in <br />emergency management. <br />Neel-Schaffer is ready and able to serve Orange County on this important project.
