N NG, AND <br />LIFELONG LEARNING OBJECTIVES <br />* Developed an Associate in Arts [A.A.] plan of study and semester -bar- semester <br />plan for Orange County students, Orange County residents now have the option <br />to start and finish an A.A. degree at the orange County Campus, <br />Developed an Associate in Sei nce [A.S] plan of study and semester- bar- semester <br />plan for Orange County students. Orange County residents now have the option <br />to start and finish an A.S. degree at the Orange County Campus. <br />Developed a Workplace Spanish certificate for Health Care Professionals that <br />Orange County residents can start and finish at the Orange County Campus. <br />Developing a plan to expand Health Technology programs In Orange County by <br />creating a nursing lab at the Orange County Campus that can also bG used for <br />additional health care instruction, <br />Launched the new Su stainability Technologies program at the Orange County <br />Campus. Enrollment for the inaugural Solar Photovoltaic Installation certificate <br />was very strong. 'phis certificate is targeted for electricians and/or individuals <br />with significant facilities experience. In fall 2011, the college will offer the <br />Renewable Energy diploma at the Orange, County Campus, which will include <br />electrical and math courses for students without previous electrical experience. <br />The diploma will also include work experience with a local company. <br />• Installation of roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic panels was <br />completed. New systems support the Sustainability Technologies Lab while <br />saving on electrical bills. The poorer output of both systems can be monitored <br />over the Internet and viewed as are hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly summary. <br />Increased offerings of higher level courses for international tu ents though the <br />Center for the Global Learner. <br />* Invested in up- fitting a new lab to offer for - credit chemistry courses. <br />• Hosted a keynote Small Business seminar featuring Mayor 'Teen Stevens. <br />
