as completed with <br />n <br />copies of the <br />certification to be <br />provided to the <br />Orange county <br />Engineer and <br />Planning <br />Department prior to <br />Planning signatures <br />on the Final Plat. <br />5. The applicant shall <br />provide a letter of <br />credit or escrow <br />agreement to <br />secure construction <br />of the sever lines. <br />An estimate of the <br />construction cost <br />shall be prepared <br />by a <br />certified /licensed <br />engineer and <br />submitted to the <br />Planning and <br />Inspections <br />Department. The <br />financial guarantee <br />must reflect I 10% <br />of that estimate and <br />be Issued by an <br />accredited financial <br />institution licensed <br />to do business in <br />North Carolina. <br />6. If the event a letter <br />of credit or other <br />similar security Is <br />chosen, no <br />certificate of <br />occupancy for any <br />dwelling shall be <br />issued until all <br />surer line <br />construction- an ,(i <br />The applicant has no <br />problem with posting a <br />letter of credit or other <br />form of escrow <br />agreement if it <br />becomes necessary. <br />They do not believe <br />that they should post a <br />letter of credit In an <br />arbitrary manner. <br />No concerns <br />The applicant would <br />like the wording <br />revised to indicate that <br />`if' a letter of credit is <br />necessary them they <br />will do so and adhere <br />to the established <br />requirements. <br />None <br />Staff has no objection <br />to the revised condition <br />as suggested by the <br />applicant. <br />
