Attachment <br />Process for approving a Conditional Use (CU) application in accordance with the Orange County 217 <br />Unified Development Ordinance U O : <br />Staff Note: A CU <br />application is reviewed at the <br />Development met Re iew <br />Committee, RC meeting. <br />This meeting is attended by <br />several other County <br />departments including, but <br />not limited to: Health <br />Iepartrnent, Solid Waste, <br />Erosion Control, Fire <br />Marshall, and ER.0 . <br />Staff Note: Meeting has to <br />be held a minimum of <br />fourteen (1 days prior to <br />public hearing. <br />Staff~ Note: The abstract and <br />legal ad is initialler reviewed <br />at the monthly agenda review <br />meeting between the <br />Planning Director and the <br />County Manager. The legal <br />ad is reviewed and approved <br />by the BCC. <br />Staff schedules a pre- application meeting with individual <br />seeking to apply for a Conditional Use (CU) application <br />(Class A Special Use Permit and Rezoning action) to <br />review the request and discuss submittal requirements. <br />Staff accepts a completed application. Staff has seven <br />days to formally accept or reject the . application.
