23 <br />Attachment 5 <br />Local Input Ranking Options for Highway Projects (Mobility and Modernization Projects) <br />Each MPO/RPO & Division receives equal # of pts 1,300 for ranking projects. Each <br />MPO/RPO may distribute local points using one of two methods: <br />Top 25 Method OR Control Total iVlethod <br />#1 priority project receives 100 points No limit on # of project rankings <br />#2 priority project receives 96 points <br />#3 priority project receives 92 points Maximum 100 points per project <br />• Minimum 4 points per project <br /> Can transfer up to 100 points per project to <br />#25 priority project receives 4 points another area. <br /> - Regardless of scenario, project cannot <br /> score more than 100 points. <br /> - Must be agreement between giving and <br /> receiving organizations. <br />Multimodal Scoring (Mobility ~ Modernization Projects) <br />Bonus Points if the highway project includes one or more of the following new or additional <br />multimodal components (select all that apply). <br />Multimodal Options 8 points: <br />HOV /HOT, light rail, bus rapid transit, or bus-on-shoulder w/in the highway ROW <br />Multimodal Connections 5 points: <br />Direct connection to a transportation terminal (airport, seaport, rail depot, ferry terminal, transit <br />terminal, freight intermodal terminal, or military base) <br />Multimodal Design Features 3 points: <br />Sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, striped bicycle lanes, wide outside shoulders (greater than or <br />equal to two feet), bus pullouts, transit bypass lanes, transit signal prioritization, bus shelters <br />Multimodal Projects must be ranked and must be included in an adopted Comprehensive <br />Transportation Plan, Long Range Transportation Plan, or amode-specific plan to receive points. <br />
