Amendment Schedule <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Craig Benedict, Planning Director, <br />245-2592 <br />PURPOSE: To consider and approve the process components and schedule for government <br />initiated items to be heard at the May 23, 2011 Quarterly Public Hearing. <br />BACKGROUND: At its May 3, 2011 meeting, <br />the legal ad for the May 23, 2011 Quarterly <br />developer initiated and five government initiated: <br />the Board of County Commissioners approved <br />Public Hearing authorizing seven items -two <br />Developer Initiated <br />1. Conditional Use District (CUD) rezoning application in conjunction with a Major <br />Subdivision in Efland <br />2. Class A Special Use Permit application proposing development of a Montessori <br />School <br />Government Initiated <br />3. 2030 Comprehensive Plan Text Amendments <br />4 & 5. 2030 Comprehensive Plan Land Use Element Map Amendments <br />6. Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments <br />7. Zoning Atlas Amendment <br />Attached are Amendment Outlines for the five government initiated amendments for the Board's <br />consideration and approval. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: See Financial Impact included in each attached Amendment Outline. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the attached <br />Amendment Outlines and direct staff to proceed accordingly. <br />
