Reports from three Scenario Work Groups <br />? 1998 New Housing Starts and Housing Starts 1990-98 <br />Ellen Ironside said that in reviewing all the data collected by the Shaping Orange County's <br />Future Task Force, a baseline scenario was developed which gives a projection of future <br />community, economic and physical development trends in Orange County to the year 2030. <br />The SOCF Task Force envisions Orange County in the future with sustainable economic <br />development that is equitable for all citizens, and conserves and improves the environment. <br />David Stancil answered several questions from the elected officials. <br />3. Closed Session Oran a Count <br />"To consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of <br />appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or <br />prospective public officer or employee;" NCGS 143-318.11(a)(6). <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner Halkiotis to go into <br />Closed session "To consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, <br />conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or <br />employee or prospective public officer or employee;" NCGS 143-318.11(a)(6). <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by Commissioner Carey to adjourn <br />the meeting.
