A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Commissioner Yuhasz to <br /> approve A Resolution providing Comments to the NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) <br /> regarding the Draft 2011-2020 State Transportation Improvement Program Division 7 projects <br /> in Orange County; and 2) A Resolution providing comments to the Durham-Chapel Hill- <br /> Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) Transportation Advisory Committee <br /> (TAC) regarding the draft 2012-18 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP). <br /> A friendly amendment was made by Commissioner Jacobs to include Board of County <br /> Commissioners comments from the meeting into the resolution. Report - Phase One Assessment of the Current Fire, Rescue, and <br /> Emerqency Services <br /> The Board considered receiving the Phase One Assessment of the Current Fire, <br /> Rescue and Emergency Services System conducted by MMA Consulting Group (MMA) of <br /> Brookline, MA. <br /> Emergency Services Director Frank Montes de Oca introduced Gary McCarraher, a <br /> consultant from MMA, who was commissioned by the County to provide a snapshot of the <br /> services provided within Orange County. He said that this is an opportunity for the Board to <br /> provide feedback to the consultant.
