Administration <br />1. To manage the public housing apartments in accordance with the HUD <br />guidelines and policies of the Town of Chapel Hill. <br />2. To provide staff support to the Public Housing Advisory Board. <br />3. To administer the Housing Capital Fund. <br />Resident Services <br />1. To recertify eligibility for public housing tenancy every 12 months. <br />2. To continue to provide financial and homeownership training opportunities far <br />participants in the Transitional Housing Program. <br />Maintenance <br />~. To maintain the public housing apartments in a decent, safe, and sanitary <br />condition. <br />2. To continue to refurbish public housing apartments. <br />3. To complete preventative maintenance, safely jnspections, ar~d repairs in all <br />336 housing units. <br />2. This enables non-profits <br />to pay these fees without passing the costs or1 to the prospective renters or <br />homebuyers.. lith this reimbursement, the Board works to alleviate barriers to <br />affordable housing. ~~::. <br />Strategies have been designed to help eliminate or reduce the impact of the <br />identified barriers.
