Fikes, 245-2490 <br />Commissioner Bernadette Pelissier, <br />245-2130 <br />PURPOSE: To receive the 2010 Annual Report of the Partnership to End Homelessness. <br />BACKGROUND: The Ten X10} Year Plan to End Homelessness was approved by the four <br />elected boards in the County in May 2007. Subsequently, an Executive Team of the <br />Partnership to End Homelessness was formed to provide oversight and direction to the Plan. <br />The Executive Team consists of a representative from the four elected bodies, the University <br />and other community representatives. The specific role of the Executive Team is to ensure the <br />goals, objectives, and strategies of the 10 Year Plan are being met and to also help address the <br />inevitable challenges inherent in this ambitious initiative. Commissioner Bernadette Pelissier is <br />the current BOCC representative. <br />Each year, the Partnership produces an Annual Report to highlight its efforts to reduce the <br />number of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This year's report will be <br />presented by Jamie Rohe, Orange County Homeless Coordinator, and Terry Allebaugh,, a <br />member of the Executive Team. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with receiving the report. <br />RECOMMENDATI4N~S~: The Manager recommends the Board receive the report as <br />information. <br />
