Kirk, <br />Thank you for your time in reviewing this project We have reviewed the existing <br />configuraxion, as approved in 1998 by Orange County, and shrived to maintain the same level <br />of appearance in our proposed plans for expansion. We believe that our proposed site <br />renovations, although moderate in scale, will have a minimal impact to the existing <br />conditions of as found at this intersection. <br />We, working directly with the Credit Union, have triad to actively address any possible <br />~•-~~er2"s that result from our plans as follows: <br />t. Landscaping: We are proposing, with input from the Planning staff'', to add to the <br />_ ..:, _ _ .._ _ appearance of both the existing building and new remote teller office. <br />_. ... <br />. ~a. ~V"e are~proposing large-beds of overgreen_sc>•~ening a1an~Old NC 86. . <br />' h. We are replacing all damaged landscape around the existing building, <br />restaririg it to the original design intent, <br />c, We are proposing the ~replaritirig of the existing slope located between the <br />teller oflicx and the main building. . <br />d. We are preserving several large trees that are found on the new site. <br />e. We are continuing to press-eve the large existing trees found in $ont of t1~e <br />main building at the intersection of Old NC 86 and Oakdale Drive. <br />2. Parking: Additional parking is being provided to better servo this branch office at <br />peak hours. This parking is beneficial to the site because: <br />a. This will help ret<over drive aisles lost to parallel parking by members and <br />staff. <br />b. Provide better emergency service access <br />c.
