1u <br />Victim means any Patient or potential Patient who is <br />entrapped, entangled, pinned, fallen, suspended or <br />otherwise in need of Rescue Service. <br />Water Ambulance means a watercraft specifically designed <br />and equipped to serve as an EMS Services Vehicle to <br />transport Patients. <br />Section 4. General Responsibilities <br />(a) Grantee is authorized under this Franchise to operate <br />the following types of service(s), the combination of <br />which shall constitute Grantee's "EMS Services" for <br />the purposes of this Franchise: <br />® Rescue Service <br />® swiftwater rescue <br />® confined space rescue <br />® high /low angle rescue <br />® Primary Ambulance Provider (Special Events <br />Coverage Only) <br />(b) Grantee shall comply at all times with the <br />requirements of the Orange County EMS Franchise <br />Ordinance, this Franchise and all applicable Law <br />relating to health, sanitation, safety, equipment, <br />Ambulance design or other EMS Services Vehicle design <br />and all legal requirements related to a Model EMS <br />System and all other laws and ordinances. <br />(c) Grantee shall maintain in good standing its state and <br />local Drivers and Privilege license(s) to operate its <br />Ambulance or other EMS Services as provided for by <br />Law. <br />Section 5. The Scope of Service <br />(a) Grantee shall operate its EMS Services, 24 hours per <br />each and every day of the calendar year, within the <br />Franchise District specified in Exhibit A, except when <br />a different or additional service area is provided for <br />herein. <br />8 <br />
