36 <br />Chapter 7: Parks and Recreation Element <br />Park/Facility Location Description <br /> Co-located on 48 acres with the Northern <br /> Human Services Center, the park features <br /> a lighted baseball/softball field, <br /> gymnasium, meeting rooms, and art and <br /> NC-86, seven miles pottery rooms in the center. Currently <br />Northern Park north of under construction, Phase II includes a <br /> Hillsborough second lighted ballfield, a lighted walking <br /> track, amulti-purpose field, a picnic <br /> shelter with restrooms, two lighted <br /> basketball courts, two playgrounds, trails <br /> and parking. <br /> Margaret Lane Six-acre open area will include trails, <br /> , <br />Hillsborough benches, and picnic tables, a performance <br />River Park (between the stage, and a public market.
