The County should support the expansion of community based drug treatment programs particularly for parents of <br />young children to promote safety and permanence for children. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Crowther to accept the report and to <br />consider the recommendations at a future meeting. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />11. CLOSED SESSION <br />"To establish the County's position and to instruct the County Manager and the County Attorney on the negotiating <br />position regarding the terms of a contract to purchase real property," NCGS § 143-318A 1(a)(5). <br />This item was delayed to the next meeting. <br />14. ADJOURNMENT <br />With no further items to be considered by the County Commissioners, the meeting was adjourned.
