These costs are for Orange County side facilities, including parking, driveway, trails, kiosks and other low-impact amenities; Trails and amenities on the other partner lands will be funded by those jurisdictions, and one-half of the Orange County facilities (which includes the most substantial area of the preserve) is projected for funding assistance from Durham and Chapel Hill,whose residents will benefit from the Preserve.
