Kt~~1~£.' ~'R~$fiy <br />I <br />5` ;7r. <br />~~,'Gy~° <br />~1 '~ S <br />As always, and as is appropriate, guidance from the Qrange County Board of County <br />Commissioners is needed to provide direction for next steps As the new UDQ <br />approaches the paint of adoption, it is desirable far the Board of Commissioners to set <br />priorities for staff and Planning Board work an Phase II of this initiative - -the first set of <br />amendments/adjustments to the new UDQ - -and also to identify topics for <br />consideration in subsequent phases following Phase II. <br />The priority areas suggested above can serve as the starting point for this discussion of <br />phased work on amendments. If the Board of Commissioners finds this suggested list <br />for adjustments to this list as decided by the Board} to bean acceptable "game plan," <br />the Board may choose to refer the list to staff to come back with a specific process and <br />schedule for consideration of these amendments The Board of Commissioners could <br />also decide to refer this list to the Planning Board for recommendation prior to giving <br />direction to staff, to seek the Planning Board's advice regarding priorities for Phase II <br />work and additional issues that should be given early attention, <br />
