PLANNING EGARD I~EI~EERS ABSENT: May Becker and Samantha Cabe Chair Pelissier reviewed the information at their places that consisted of three PawerPoint presentations, draft resolutions from Carrboro and Chapel Hill, comments from Orange County Voice, a document related to the second public hearing item, a document related to the Master Telecommunications Plan, a pink sheet with an excerpt from minutes related to the~public hearing on the Telecommunications Plan, and a series of emails related to the Telecommunications Plan. A. GPENING REMARKS FRCI~ THE CHAIRS Chair Pelissier turned the meeting over to Planning Board Chair Brian Crawford to chair the first two items. S. PUELIC CHARGE The Chair dispensed with the reading of the public charge. Planning Board Chair Brian Crawford made introductory comments. Cornrniss~oner Gordon arrived 7; ~3 P~1. Commissioner Gordon read a handout regarding the procedure for conducting this Quarterly Public Hearing. This handout ~cantained a recommendation for haw the actions of the public hearing should be considered. She said that the staff recommendation for action should be changed to followthe County Commissioners' policy for public hearings and planning items. For item C~~, Unified Development Ordinance ~UDG},the wording for the action to be considered by the County Commissioners should be changed as shown:
