Harvey, Planner III, 245-2597 <br />PURPOSE: To receive the Planning Board's recommendation regarding adoption of the <br />Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) and take to action on the UDO. <br />BACKGRGUND: At the conclusion of the February 2S, 2011 joint quarterly public hearing on <br />the UDO, the BGCG directed the Planning Board to consider whether it wanted to recommend <br />any specific changes to the UDO in response to comments and discussion at the quarterly <br />public hearing and to return a recommendation in time for the April 5, 2011 BGCG meeting. <br />Draft minutes for the quarterly public hearing are included in Attachment 4. The public hearing <br />was held open until April 5, 2011 in order for the BOCC to receive the Planning Board's <br />recommendation. In accordance with Orange County regulations, any comments after the <br />quarterly public hearing must be in writing and must be received prior to the Planning Board <br />meeting at which the Planning Board makes a recommendation. Additional oral comments are <br />not taken unless they were also received in writing prior to the aforementioned deadlines. <br />
